Hello, I’m Kathleen O’Toole, a Registered Nurse turned stay-at-home mom, turned business owner, hoping to bring Catholics and Non-Catholics to prayer.
How did this happen? It happened as the old phrase says: “Necessity is the mother of invention.” In search of a gift for my mother-in-law, landed me in a position of re-engineering an item that would make her feel closer to her faith. A Rosary for the Wrist! A spectacular gift for a devote Catholic Grandmother who prays the rosary every night. She was thrilled with her gift . Soon three of my sister-in-laws wanted a bracelet and the flood gates opened.
I truly believe the Lord winks at us on a regular basis. The simple fact that the idea came to mind was to me a God Wink moment. How else could I have come up with the notion re-engineering the rosary into a daily worn accessory? Soon other ideas of the rosary formed from necessity: key chains, single decade rosary bracelets, team color rosary bracelets, colors of the bible bracelets and matching earrings. I am certain another God Wink moment will occur giving me another idea of how to alter the rosary to meet the needs of the modern day Catholic.
To bring more and more people to prayer…that is the ultimate message. Even if a wearer does not pray, they at least know that prayer is easily at hand. Spirituality is only a prayer away. How about wearing a prayer bracelet to make you feel closer to your faith? It’s only a few clicks away.
